The Risk Collaborative’s Assurance Network
The primary objective of the Assurance Network is to provide third-sector organisations with a reliable and accessible resource for engaging qualified local and international assurance professionals.
These professionals, which include lawyers, accountants, auditors, investigators, forensic specialists, and other experts, are reviewed for their technical expertise, local contextual knowledge, and familiarity with the unique challenges of the nonprofit operating environment.
Our network includes experts focused on the following areas:
Cybersecurity/Data Protection
Due Diligence/Risk/Compliance
Fraud/Corruption Detection and Prevention
Administrative Investigations
Physical Safety/Security
Safeguarding
All members of the Assurance Network are screened for their technical competency as well as their experience working with third-sector organisations and across cultures.
A key element of the review process is ensuring that service providers offer language access and demonstrate robust cultural understanding, enabling them to navigate local and sectoral nuances and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
We also have a continuous monitoring programme to ensure that the members of the Assurance Network consistently meet the standards required and we practice feedback-driven improvement to make certain that the Network remains responsive to the evolving needs of the third sector.
